Italoconnection – Metropoli (Expanded Edition)

Italoconnection is the result of over twenty years of friendship and occasional creative meeting between two electronic underground scene agit-props in Milan – Fred Ventura and Paolo Gozzetti, who produced, arranged and mixed a host of dancefloor tracks in their individual careers with great continuity and clarity of intent. In 2010 they decided to join their forces and give more continuity to their electronic raids using the pseudonym Italoconnection. The aim was to revive the glories of the early ’80s Italo Disco in a modern form. The Human League, Hurts, Ou Est Les Swimming Pool, Raffaella Destefano and Flabby are just some of the artists who have been remixed by italoconnection. After 7 years of success and numerous releases the band comes out with first full length album containing simply amazing mixture of melodies, sound of synthesizers and wide space athmosphere. After a huge success of a vinyl, the time has come for a CD format. To make this release even more spectacular Ventura/Gozzetti prepared special previously unreleased material, such as full intstrumental version of the album + remixes and unique edits.
